Two posts today, Chernobyl below and I did a pretty lengthy write up on horse slaughter, responding to a Montana letter to the editor and updating the status of current, federal horse slaughter related legislation.

I just have to say. To hell with Comcast. Those people suck. The outage tonight, while short, not only interuptted a post I was writing for this blog. But also interrupted my viewing of a film I have never seen called The Human Stain. That's just annoying.

I have been tinkering with the “artsy” part of my blog lately. New updates to both the writing page and the photography page. Of course, in reality all writing, including blog posts are artistic in some way or another. (more…)

I added tons of links on the writing page to various non-fiction stuff I have out there.

Check it out at the writing page on the top nav bar.

Also added a few photos and updated the nuclear emergencies through today.

The nuclear emergencies page is up. All incidents requiring an emergency classification are cataloged and linked to event reports from the NRC. So far I have covered 2002 through Feb. 20, 2006.

Check it out at the nuclear page on the top nav bar. I should note that I am pro-nuclear power.

Oh, and scroll down, I made a couple of short posts this evening.

I dropped the poems page. The poems are just PDFs on the writing page now. The nuclear database is still under construction. I work on it only intermittenly. I have compiled nuclear emergencies from 2002 thru the present. I suppose I could post those, let me know what you think.

It’s been about 3 months since I started this blog, one random December morning. So far I have noticed quite a few return visitors, which tells me one of two things. Either sometimes what I write is intrguing or people are just blindly curious as to what kind of nonsensical dribble will pour forth from my cranium next. Either way is fine, hopefully you’ll keep reading. (more…)

I have posted a lot of new stuff lately and fear that the few of you who actually might read this may have missed something. So here is a round up of recent updates, the older posts are listed first: (more…)

Tuesdays and Thursdays are my slow, boring days. I posted a couple more poems, both recent works. So check them out if you have a moment.

Perhaps I will post something more substantial later, perhaps not.

Just to bring it to your attention, in case you didn’t notice. I have written a little bit on the whole horse slaughter debate, scroll down, there are several recent updates. That section is linked on the left side of the front page below “recent posts.”

Included in the updated is what has turned out to be not so Daily Web-bits (haha hits..bits, get it?), linked below horse updates, on the front page by the way. There is some interesting stuff in that section so if you have time, check out the links. Otherwise, check out the posts on the “dangerous side” of things. The one about the dogs is rambling and directionless, I know. But what I am trying to say is valid, I think.

That’s all for now, adieu.

Well, my apologies to my readers and Munson. I never called her back. I have been busy. I will get to it on Monday. But I want to write about something . . . hmmm . . .

This post is completely off topic from the previous three posts, but I have conveniently archived them on the sidebar beneath the tag ‘investigative series,’ this despite the fact that I don’t really know how investigative it is. Don’t worry I won’t let this one go. You may have noticed other changes, a handy Google search bar to peruse the internet and a Technorati blog search as well as a few ads, click on them if you want, it helps me. You can also link directly to a download of Mozilla Firefox, which kicks Windows Internet Explorer’s butt. Searching the net from here helps me as well so feel free, anyway onto the meat, (no pun intended). (more…)
